Aubusson tapestry from the middle of the 17th century Technical characteristics : Wool and silk Dimensions : Height : 190cm ; Width : 300cm This tapestry presents us the children's games of Louis XIV, indeed, in a flowery and green undergrowth, under high foliage, in the shelter of a clearing and in edge of river, four children, among whom the king, nobly dressed, play the horse-fondu. In the distance, through a gap in the forest, we see a castle. Gallooned borders. A certificate of authenticity of the expert, Mr Frank KASSAPIAN, will be given to the buyer.
