Moynat uses gutta-percha, a tree native to Singapore, which is ultralight but ultra-resistant, waterproof and invulnerable to cold and humidity. They are amber colored, the house code, and bear the circular metal marks of Moynat. Length : 87 cm , Height : 21 cm , Length : 50 and 47,5 cm Moynat is the oldest French trunk maker. Resulting from the association Coulembier/Moynat created in 1869 after a first workshop in 1849. The belle époque consecrates the house of Moynat as the first in the world, customers of great luxury. This reputation is partly due to their perpetual innovations. One of their specialties was the creation of custom-made luggage for automobiles, starting in 1910. If the house Moynat ceases in 1976 it is taken over by the Arnault group in 2010 and relaunched to restore its luster of best house in the world. According to tradition, these two pieces of luggage were made for a Bugatti car in the 30's, which is possible considering the state of care given to these two pieces of luggage, preserved in a superb state.
