CIZETA – 1985
Prototype master 1 Claudio Zampoli, who reorganized Lamborghini in the USA in 1973, decided in the 80's to create an exceptional car better than the Lambo or Ferrari. He magnifies the Countach and updates it by calling on the designer Marcello Gandini. He brings in his project the musician-composer Giorgio Moroder who realized the musics of Midnight Express, Scareface or Top Gun and groups as Daft Punk. The cars will be named CIZETA (for Claudio Zampoli) Moroder. It will be a top Supercar of 16 cylinders 560hp with all the technicality and an exceptional luxurious finish. The production from 1988 to 1993 will be only 8 cars because of the profitability and the exorbitant cost of production. This car will remain forever a legend of the Super Cars, reserved to the stars or to the greatest characters like the Sultan of Brunei who bought 2 of them. The others are in collections or museums. The only one sold was by RM Auctions in Arizona for $665,000 dlls. We present you the first CIZETA made by M. Gandini, purer and finer for Zampoli who is going to turn to a 2nd realization. This master is both an automotive achievement but a work of art, the designer Gandini, creator of the Pantera, Stratos, Maserati, Lamborghini is above all an artist and a sculptor of mobile models. A unique and exceptional sculpture. SALE BY APPOINTMENT
