BUKHARA HATCHLOU (Central Asia, Turkmenistan), early 20th century A rectangular salmon field strewn with small 'Kotchaks' (trophies) is separated into four compartments by a cross composed of stylised polychrome plants. The perimeters are represented by ivory boxes with fuchsia geometric shapes. A niche is located in the upper part. The frame is composed of stylised vegetal chevrons and small 'kotchak' boxes. The lower anthracite storeroom has flowering stems.
