CITROËN B2 -1922/1923 " Coupé Docteur Serial number : 51265 Second model of André Citroën, the B2 appeared in 1921. Built in the Quai de Javel factory, it is equipped with a new four-cylinder engine of 1,452 cm3 developing 20 HP. It was the last CITROËN to be equipped with a mixed wood and steel structure. Both robust and reliable, it will contribute greatly to the reputation of the brand with the chevrons, serving in particular as a base for the autochenilles used during the black cruise. Nearly 90,000 B2s were produced in some 25 different types of bodywork. Interior driving 2 seats (four-cylinder engine, 1 452 cm3) power fiscal 10 CV, real 20 CV. Produced to 759 copies, according to the blog CITROËN. This car being very handy, robust, never broken down, is the favorite car of doctors, hence its name "Coupe Docteur". Acquired by Mr. J.B. at the beginning of this century, the car has been superbly restored from a cosmetic point of view. It had been used for various outings during his lifetime; Certainly one of the most interesting bodywork for a CITROËN B2, very rare given its few achievements.
