"Venus and Mars"
Venus, goddess of love, in the shade of a rich hanging, lounging, on a carved antique table bed, dressed in a bluish toga, converses and compromises with Mars, god of war, lightly dressed. Indeed his military harness is strewn on the ground, shield, cuirass and feathered helmet have been carelessly thrown on the ground, while two cherubs are struggling to remove his shoes from his sandals, to the sound of a third one playing the horn. Cupid, as for him, "lights the fires of love" hidden under the drapes of Venus' bed. Blue and pastel border, with garland of flowers and fruits and flowered vases.
