Tapestry panel from the Royal Manufacturers of Aubusson and Felletin. Late 17th - Early 18th century. Greenery of Aubusson of the couple of bustards Wool and silk. Rich border of leaves, flowers and fruits. Maintenance restorations, natural oxidations. Ht.264cm - Width 287cm In Aubusson, landscapes of greenery were woven in perspective of sufficient quality that 4 hangings of this kind appear in the inventory of the crown before 1714. Here we can see in an undergrowth a couple of bustards in front of a redesigned castle protected by a river and not far from a waterfall that gives a glimpse of an upper lake.
