Rare and magnificent KIZIM-OUCHAK (Caucasus), late 19th century A royal blue field decorated with Medes stars, flowers and small symbols hosts an important polychrome, cruciform and oblong medallion. These are in fact four "Dragons", on an ivory background, in opposition, framing the central medallion in gold, brick or throne an imposing stylized insect. Trees of life, insects and crabs complete the bestiary.
